Notice we do not list genetics as a cause. There are millions of people in the United States whose parents and/or grandparents were addicts or alcoholics and they are not. Neither do we say that your dependency is due to your having the "disease" of alcoholism or addiction. We prefer for your normal life to be maintained as much as possible while you are at Passages. We will weave our treatment program into your life so you will not experience stress from breaking contact with loved ones or from leaving behind business responsibilities.
